ANTM Casting.

Several of my friends are just as obsessed with ANTM as I am (they might even be a step father as they are contemplating making their own version of the show called mkntbf bc as jade says this is "...americas next top best friend." sorry girls, I still heart you!), and regardless we have all talked about going on the show. None of us are supermodels in our current lives, but you know in our day dreams we sit there while someone makes us beautiful and then snaps pictures of us looking gorg and poutty.

however, we stumbled upon this gem from a fabsugar posting. Oh my dear catie! How you have lived out a few of our fantasies!! Thank you for sharing!! However, I must say that I cant believe you have to be 5'7"! Really Tyra?? Eva was not that tall!! I get the whole must be 18 thing, but as my friend reminded me you dont have to be that old to be on American Idol. Whats with the age-discrimination Tyra???

And I do believe the "smart" one should win once. As should the "plus sized" model. Come on girls, go try out!!! And become ANTM Cycle 11 winner! I believe in you, and I will root for you till the end!! Go forth and be fierce.

Oh B, how I love thee.  You are fantastically evil, and you dont hide it.  LOVE it!  From your daddy issues, to your protective best friend role, to your hidden love of the one and only Chuck Bass, you had quite an episode this week.  In the books (yes I am that girl who went and read all the books after I became obsessed with this show) you seem evil and vindictive, but Josh Schwartz has somehow made you human.  And while in the books I lived and breathed for S, I find the show and her and D's pda filled relationship to be gag worthy.  Josh please make S that girl who is super nice and flighty so she really is the girl everyone loves ... or loves to hate.

As for the whole gay daddy, I cant get over how Mr Waldorf is actually Lex Luther.  I mean for reals, there is NO WAY he can be a nice guy.  He's evil and after Clark Kent!!!!  He cant be B's dad who sends her Manolos (which ps Josh is something you def need to highlight)!!!!

And since when did VS sell out???  First it was the Spice Girls, and now its Gossip Girl???  Every girl in VS pajamas (and bras).  Eleanor designing night gowns.  The tree with the lipgloss.  The servers at the party.  All the gift bags.  Really was any of that necessary???  They kept coming!  Oh, product placement.  I hope you make your money bc last I heard you were giving away the Spice Girls CD with purchase....

Scoreboard:  Minus 1 point to C for being so crass about N and B.  1 point to N and B for having a much hotter first time than S and D.   2 points to  Eric for the line of the night.  and 1 point to Eleanor for being the only adult to score as well this week.  

What's to come after the new year in the first of 2 part episode???  Yea for C and N being back, I missed their hotness on my TV.   Will Lily say yes?  Will she get Rufus' super cute message?

WELCOME BACK TIM GUNN! oh how ive missed your witty comments! tell me sunshine, what bad decisions have you made at 3 am lately? i can def name a few ive done... AHEM... i mean made ... but thats neither here or now.

poor jack got sick and had to leave, bets on how he'll be back??? commentary from the bath tub a la the bachelor?? trade in for another contestant later? bryant park?? what do you think? i really hope he's feeling better, regardless. best wishes sunshine.

BUT YEA for chris coming back! even tho he is a costumer, that first dress was AMAZ. please repeat, and not when he pulls an all nighter and cant even string together 2 words. thank you. and yea for sweet p for being so excited for him to come back. those 2 are too cute.

as for the editing, you people are starting to slack. BOTH last week and this week christian slammed his opponents work with the same comment. while amazingly funny the first time, i might die if he uses it or the word fierce again (tho missy at ew.com says the fierce counts is only nine, it feels like way more). thank you tim gunn for calling him out on it, which makes me wonder how many times the editors have cut it out of his screen time... mmm interesting. and christian are you 12??? really?? thats fierce. sorry, i apologize.

anyways, thank you reality tv gods for bringing back great challenges to project runway! this is why i love this show. however great christian's model might have felt (and showed it on the runway), kevin was robbed. i love his outfit. and im over black leggings too (but not under that one short dress i have haha... sorry micheal), but come on!!! that was def the best change from the orig outfit... and thats what i thought this challenge was all about. i guess i was wrong, but so was steve. oh that french maid dress!!! i wanted to cry for the model, but i yelled with joy when heidi auf'ed him!!! i firmly believe he is the reason many of the people who have already left have gone. thank goodness we got one back.

what do you think next week's challenge is??? chocolate??? "i picked it up and it all fell off" mmm what are you talking about jillian??? do tell! i cant wait to see what the designers create. and will ricky cry AGAIN?

Open Letter to Tyra Banks

Dearest Tyra,

I know that ANTM has become your secondary income - you prefer teaching women about their vajayays more than teaching young girls to model. And while I def salute you for following your dreams of being the next Oprah, I have issues with you abandoning ANTM. ANTM should be your bread and buttah. 9 cycles and people still come back for more.

However, things are starting to change. Please take my following suggestions to get back to the wonderful-ness that ANTM used to be.

• Please update the panel. Ms. Jay has done his/her good, and now he/she just annoys me. His/her help is fine for runway, but not for judging. Who is he/she to judge anyways? Twiggy may be a fashion icon, but man is she boring!!! Bring back some drama. Tho, tell Nigel he needs to make more inapro comments, you seemed to edit him back this season. I miss him hitting on all the girls (tho does he have a prob with sarcasm? first caridee and now jenah... mmm interesting. is it the britishness?)
• Please bring back judges challenges. I miss girls being forced to do stupid things in front of the panel. Who ever would have thought that someone could stand so still while Ms. Jay hit on her? dont crack a smile!!
  
• Please stop eliminating the people who actually are succeeding.
  

As for this season, the minute jenah was eliminated, you knew your tzone-girl salisha was going to win. However, some interesting facts have come to light about your relationship to the newest ANTM. What do you have to say to that accusation? I know Oprah would apologize and say that she was sorry. What do you say? Step up to the plate honey. If these rumors are true, I feel cheated. DO OVER. lisa vs heather vs jenah. That is a final 3 I can get behind. Lets hear if for the girls.

I am a self diagnosed TVholic. And I'm okay with that.

I am emotionally invested in all my shows, and alas I can no longer keep my distress about Spencer, my love for all dorky nbc stars, my reality TV obsession, my future husband, or any other of my opinions to myself. Please know that I dont always watch the show the night they are on, so I may be a day-ish late (The DVR is the BEST invention since electricity!!!). And since the writing strike is going to affect my tv watching, I might start posting about old shows. Know that I will always be your fellow couch potato.
